Phixo was created with one goal: give every person with an email inbox the same level of protection that was previously out of reach for most individuals. We built it as a Chrome extension that lives inside your inbox, delivers a verdict in under two seconds, and never retains the text of your email.

Privacy is not a feature — it is the foundation. Phixo scans email content over an encrypted connection, produces a verdict, and discards the content immediately. Your email body is never written to our database — we keep only a one-way cryptographic fingerprint (so repeat scans of the same email are recognised) and the verdict itself. Nothing is used to train models. This is not a compromise we made — it is the core design principle from day one.
We built Phixo the way we would want a security tool to treat our own email: zero retention, minimum permissions, and an honest answer every time.
